IIRC the tool that wiz show's is for getting behind door panels, etc and popping out the plastic clips the have a large head imbedded in the panel and then speared through the door or other sheet metal. Wiz used ingenuity to make it work for his purposes.
Yeah, I bought it for door panels. Since it was the only one in the store, it never really occurred to me that there might be different ones and now I use it for everything. It's actually kinda thick for use as a trim removal tool but the angle on the end is just right.
Cool, we're on the same page.... Have one of them also and yeah it's handy. Another I like after gringing/thinning the thickness down is the 6" long wonder bar. I honestly prefer this, as it's a 2 in 1. Also love it for popping clips on interiour door panels.
Yeah, I kept a pair of those in my tool belt back in my installing days for prying off trim and moulding in people's homes.
