Bought a 4" lifted '91 Suburban this past weekend. It's funny the 4x4's I would not consider a "wagon" where as the 2wd's I have no problem labeling a wagon. Very strange. Anyway.. I'm ready for anything now! Loving it.

On the flip side.. the '58 wagon is wondering when I get back to wrenching on it... next week.. spring is coming and I need it ready to go!

    Just thought I'd share..

Oh... and my first fill up in the Bourbon was a $100 bill.. only reason I stopped there is because the pump wouldn't give me any more.. ha? :49:

Congrats on the 'Burban - that gas station tab is the only thing that has kept me from owning one. That and the fact that I can't fit it in my garage and still walk around it!

Congratulations on your Suburban buy. I've always liked them and considered them to be heavy duty station wagons.
I "almost" owned a well used rusty one once, 454 and all. It was hooked to an old Airstream and for sale as a package. I was looking for something to move our things to Florida and spotted it. Told the guy I'd buy it for XXX without the Airstream and let me know.
We must have lived here in Florida at least six months when my oldest son said "hey dad, some guy said you can buy his old Suburban now for XXX". The price was right but way too late. Found out also that son knew this for months! It was worth the price for the engine.:(

Now I'd rather had the old Airstream !

I've always liked that body style and the final front end treatment they did to it looked good. Amazing how updating the headlights and grille on an old design could keep a rig in the market place for almost 20 years. Hope you enjoy the heck out of it.
