Of course, we all did kind of the same thing last June, but we didn't have the luxury of taking our time. There will be stretches that you're on I-40, but once you get in-town, lots to see. Make sure you hit up the twin National Parks, Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. On the road between the two, there is a place where several yards of the US 66 ROW is still there, except it's grown over. Look for the old-time car to find it.

 

You may be near Carlsbad Caverns also. Not sure, we were there 10 years ago. Hope you have a great time !

Just came across this. Unfortunately they cut the front off the 64 Plymouth out of the picture, but it's still pretty dang cool.

 

Well if you plan on traveling through New Mexico, I have the perfect wagon for young Caleb to watch the world go by. Only difference is my seats face each other, but they are vinyl, perfect for ice cream clean up.

 

I hope to bring the Fury down there. But if that doesn't pan out, I'll definitely take you up on that. I appreciate the offer Bill.
