Well...I guess, as usual, I'm behind the times. PAW is out of business and has been for awhile. I still have one of their catalogs...about 4 inches thick. I loved this place. You could buy just about anything you would ever want and get it in any quality you would want. They had complete engine rebuild kits from stock to forged high performance. Or you could buy the completed engine to your specs. This place had just about everything automotive you could imagine. What a shame they are gone. It was a far better place in many ways than Jegs or Summit IMHO. This economy is killing the automotive industry along with so many others. I didn't use them on a regular basis but when I needed something I would look in their catalog first. Most of the time they would have what I wanted at a very good price and the service was good. I'm going to miss them. Most car guys will miss them.
And another bites the dust. That's two of your favorite places gone. Cheer up, hows the Suby hunt going.
I know. When I got the '64 my dad was so excited he pulled out his PAW book and said, "What do you want to get first?" We went online to check prices and were very dissapointed.
Suby? Looking for a suburban? Maybe I could do a couple searches for you. If you get a craigslist app it will update your searches for you throughout the day. I have a free app and t works and has pictures. It also lets you set different regions to search automatically.
I loved PAW as well. I think Summit put them under. I can remember when PAW was the go-to place for engine parts, and still was better than Summit, but Summit had so much more variety of stuff than PAW. PAW was mostly engine related.
