Depending on how long it has been sitting there, it could well be more than a nightmare to get it out! The entire undercarriage could be gone, and when you go to move it, the thing could fall into pieces.
I can't believe he wants $1000 for it. He should be PAYING $1000 as gratitude to whoever is willing to go through the trouble of getting it out of there and hauling it away.
Its only about 2 1/2 hours drive from me. If it were closer, or if the rear window were closed so the interior would be dry, then I would have considered looking at it for parts.
I agree the rear window is definately a red flag. It's most likely in better condition than I think even by just going by the jungle picture. Too bad the seller doesn't at least either pull them out to a more friendly viewing area or at least cut down the foilage. Taking out all the non Mopar storage items that don't belong would sure be a plus to help sell it, they may even get a better price by doing so, if the car is still decent to save. I am curious to see the overall condition but dosen't look like their will be better pictures to be had. I am sure its not as bad as it may appear though. These Mopar wagons have a great looking body style. and hopefully will get saved. Unfortunately I won't be checking it out, my shots for tetnous and animal attacks have expired.
I had a chance at an old Newport once in a similar environment.. Using a hydraulic winch and block and tackle, I succeeded in ripping the car in half vertically. I was... shall we say ... PEEVED.
