    Hi guys (and gals?)
My name is Marshall, and I hail from Orange, California. I've been inclined toward wagons ever since I was a widdle kid bouncing off the sides of the 'way back' in the folk's '65 Nova wagon.

I've owned about 30 vehicles since my first one at 17 when I got out of high school (I'm now 56), and let me count the wagons.......
    1974 Mazda RX-4
    1989 Ford Taurus
1984 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park
....... ( only had it for a week, but that's a story for another time)
1984 Dodge Colt Vista (not really a mini-van; not really a wagon....I'll throw it in here because I thought it worked really well for what it was. )
    2000 Audi A6 Avant
    and my current ride.......
    2003 Ford Focus ZTW
    ..................................
Like a lot of you, I'm sure, I'm a dreamer - the car that's just out of reach financially; the car you wish they would build (like a 4-door Mustang S/W, or something or other. )
    My ideas:
I've always loved the old Olds / Buick / Chrysler / Dodge 4-door HARDTOP wagons from the late 50's (GM) and early 60's (Chrysler). Let's do another...
'63 Ford Galaxie 500XL HT wagon
    ''64 Pontiac Bonneville HT wagon
---- Wish I had a talent to photoshop
    ..................................
One of these days..... (car I WILL own.....)
1967 Pontiac Bonneville wagon (NOT a Catalina or Executive)
    ..................................
Now.....what I can offer youse guys......
My occupation is a auto insurance Material Damage claims analyst. I review collision damage estimates for accuracy. I've been in the business for almost 30 years. If you have any auto insurance / claims / damage/ etc questions. ask away.
Later, wagonites (wagoneers? wagon dudes? wags? )

Yeah, I've probably got a couple floatin' around in a box somewhere. but they sure won't be digital - I guess i'll have to scan it in. As you can see, I'm not real sharp on posting images, but i see you have help links here, so I'll study up. Expect a few pics in a couple weeks or so....

As to that RX-4 wagon, that was actually the second RX-4 that my wife and I purchased. Our first BRAND NEW vehicle was a 1974 RX-4 sedan. Then, a few months later we needed a second car, and the same dealer where we bought the sedan had this slightly used wagon for sale - it even had A/C, which the sedan didn't have. So we had his / hers RX'4's for a while. Sedan was blue; wagon was yellow.

    1963 ford hardtop wagon....

I was thinking the same thing... I have a 4-speed center console wagon and a 4 door hard top sitting beside it. It doesn't look like it would be really difficult...

Yeah - of all the 4-door hardtop 'conversions' that I thought about, the '63 Galaxie / Country Squire would be one of the easiest. Similar doors / roofline in the door area. Seems to me that all you would have to do is modify the center pillar and roof outer header area, and swap in the hardtop doors. ( Of course, nothing is as easy as it sounds....)
