If it were me....I'd walk away from it and never think of it ever again. Sometimes in life, you just have to learn to say NO.....and walk away. I do believe this is one of those times. Just my 2 cents.

69CC, I'd check with the local dmv first to see how much of a problem it would be to get a duplicate title for it. It might not even be doable; if that's the case, definitely pass on it since it'd only be good for a donor/parts car.

You didn't think it would be difficult to give you a price of a car sight unseen and/or with absolutely no description??? I'd like to help you out 69crew, but....that's like asking .."how much is a house". No offense, but a ton more info is needed to help.

Ford bashing now, are we? That little banana's lookin' fer trouble....:boxing:

Based on the information we have it must be worth at least anywhere from $50 to $5000. ;)
When I go to look at a car i take a camera and snap a few pics, especially of the underside. Then I can hide them from anyone so they can't see what a fool I was for even going to go look at it in the first place. :D

whooooooaa....better hide, T! :hide: Lotta Ford guys here.
Funny thing about that, too....I was never REAL brand sensitive but generally leaned toward GM. However, Ford made some great stuff...especially wagons. I have not owned as many Ford products as GM but have owned a LOT of Ford stuff over the years. Lincoln's and Ford wagons for the most part and some Merc's too. I was happy with every one of them. When you build stuff up it's interesting to switch around sometimes. Gives you a different outlook on the brand and shows different engineering concepts that are VERY interesting. Mopars were the last brand that I became interested in mechanically but always loved the Virgil Exner and other body styles from Chrysler. I can tell you...they all have good and bad points. And they can all be made to GO! :thumbs2:

Crew, that '70 Country Sedan sounds lovely. The rare 9-passenger model with PA rust and no title. I'd say offer him 5 grand...unless it still has floors, then maybe go a few thousand more! Good luck! :dancing:
