Just signed up!! My wagon is a 1980 Buick Century Estate Wagon. Eng is a 5.0 (91 camaro) with headers, Holley 650, MSD box, Tranny is 350, stock rear end, paint is 2 tone Wreck-me blue on top, wreck-me silver on bottom with pearl.Buick GN wheels, custom blue/white interior. Will post pics later. I will be doing the Hot Rod PowerTour 2013 in this car.
to the forum. Considering there have been several recent station wagon accidents please refrain from using the words "wreck me."
"wreck me" explaination The gentleman that I bought the wgn from in Murphy NC ran his own body/paint shop.He mixed all the blue paints from previous accident repairs and used it for the top half of the wgn..he did likewise with all the gray/silver paint for the bottom half of the wagon. He then applied a pearl clearcoat over the whole car(looks cool in the sun) and added a thin red pinstripe between the 2 colors..sounds odd ,but really looks good..IMO. Therefore that is where the wreck-me blue and wreck-me silver come from!!
