Am retired and have several older vehicles including our favorite, my wife's 95 Buick Estate Wagon. Guess I qualify as a fairly decent shade tree mechanic. Only thing I've not tackled is auto trans other than changing fluid. Hope to get help with my wife's Buick.
Welcome to the group. Get under that shade tree and fix that horn problem. I hate being woke up in the middle of the night!

Thanks for the welcome from all. Didn't mean to mislead anyone when I mentioned that Trans was only thing I hadn't tackled. What I meant was that over the years, this was about the only thing that I'd never attempted, an auto trans. If I'd known of forums such as this, I might have gotten up nerve to do this. Only time I had trans problem with ours, I bought a wrecking yard trans and put in it. BTW think "Whale Wagon" is great name for them, I'd never heard that before.
