Sorry, Norm...meant to address The Rev. He posted the video on the hearse guy named John...I'm just wondering what happened to him?
I've seen a PBS show, here in LA,where the host visited a man who collects old ambulances and firetrucks. Many of the old ambulances were the stationwagon variety. The red and white hearse thing, you know.Saw it in the background,a couple times;a 1967 or 68 Mercury wagon ambulance!.The host was going to be driving the back of a hook and ladder truck at the end of the episode,so he didn't have eyes for it. Cruising around town in a Colony Park ambulance? Now that'd be fun!!!

That's his handle, not mine. Just thought he might get some ideas for the Fiance to work with, while he finds a RWD.
DW, Eat your heart out! Here's a Hearse Fanatic!!! Found here: http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/338226/page/1/fpart/24/vc/1
Hey, DW, It's not a Caddy Hearse, but it sure is pretty! 1956 Caddy Woody Wagon! Flip the righthand arrow to see all the pics. It's one of 7 of these ever made by a Hearse builder. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/gallery/showimage.php?i=1950&c=8
oh baby baby I've seen these and other pictures,before...These are great wagons...I've also seen pictures of at least one 56 Chevy, with that woodie package on it...Some have claimed it was "borrowed" from a Ford/Mercury woodie package design. But,there were so many of those, that probably happened serendipitously...These are like that Lincoln Premiere wagon and the Edsel Roundup wagon I saw on Youtube recently. And that black bird in the Bogart movie "The stuff that dreams are made of."
