Thanks Guys, I’m overwhelmed with all of you compliments and hospitality.

Yes, the true number is unclear, but only 300 to 500 1936 Dodge Woodie Wagons were made.

Yes, I’ll be at Woodies on the Warf this next June. I’ve been there several times as a spectator. Twice I’ve taken the Rambler and parked it just out side of the Car Show. Next year will be my first time as a participant )

The Rambler does a great job of towing the Airstream with it’s 3.8 L, Buick, V-6 Engine. The Buick V-6 engine is basically the Chevy 350 V-8 with the front two cylinders cut off. It produces a lot of torque and tows great.

The farthest that Peaches was towed the Airstream is to Lake Shasta a couple of times, but it has towed it on a ton of other camping trips. One time she towed my 1951 Indian Chief Motorcycle to LA and back for a Car Show and I showed them both. Nobody believed that the Wagon towed the Bike. LOL!

    See Ya!

Nice! I'm new to the forum also - I spend way too much time looking at all the cool wagons. It's great to see so many people with the same affliction. I like the AC unit on the window!

Was on my way to the Oregon coast the other day, driving through the country. Glanced to the right and saw a wagon that looked like your Nash Rambler. Didn't get a good look at it, but I'm pretty sure it's the same body. Looked to be parked in the weeds........

Looking for parts? I could stop and talk to the owner next time I'm by there.......

    EDIT: 11/17/11 -
Got a better look at it today, and I was wrong. Wagon's actually a 2-door Studeaker, around a '56/'57 or so....

    Hi All,

I know it's not a true station wagon, buy it has a long roof and the rear seat folds down. Here are some pics of my commuter car that I drive to work every day. It's a 2008 Chevy HHR Panel. I love that it has a lot of the old styling queues, with all of the conveniences of today’s modern cars. Lots of storage in the back, as I'm always hauling car parts around for all of my old cars. I hope you like.

This last pic is of my HHR "Morticia" parked next to her old cousin, my 1940 Chevy Pick-up "Casper"

    See Ya!

I always like to see black drivers in other people's hands .... for me too dang hard to keep clean and too embarrassing when dirty..... now a black collectable is a different story! LOL

Randing, the 1940 Chevy pickup--Show me more! Please!- And stop teasin me with that HHR! If you and I weren't married, I'd marry you! A super fine collection!:rofl2:I had an old swamp cooler many years ago. Anodized Metalic blue. Like a lot of useless junk I got rid of it somewhere. Coincidently, my uncle had it on his 1948 Nash torpedo back sedan when he went from Illinois to Arizona and back. :dancing: I put it on my 1949 Dodge coupe but driving in town to school and back didn't work well.

Thanks for all of your compliments. I have a small fleet of old cars & trucks and Casper is my little throw down parts getter. Casper always starts and hardly ever gives me any problems. I'm always running errands around town it him, but he rarely gets to go to car shows.

Thanks guys, Casper is always a hit anywhere that we go.

Here is a pic of the 1962 Chevy Bel Air wagon that I had several years back. It must have been ordered special because, It was a real 9 passenger with a power window in the tailgate. I don't think many Bel Air's came that way usually the Impalas did. It was a great car, it had a 283 V-8 and a two speed power glide tranny. It was good on gas and I drove the hell out of it for seven years.

Yeah it appears that wagon is illegally parked. I am going to have to cite you and impound your car ... LOL

I rushed a guy to the hospital in one just like that ... 283 2-speed many years ago. He cut off two finger off in a chop saw. Between pukes he was yelling at me to slow down because he was getting nauseated .... I think I hit about 95 mph on US 80. I had his fingers in my pocket wrapped in his handchercif .... memorable!
