Hi all, I stumbled across your site recently and thought I should join. I've been a big fan of long roofs for a long time. I curently own a 1955, Hudson, Rambler, Super Cross Contry, Wagon. See Ya! Randy
Randing. OMG! What a great wagon! I'm sure others would like more details and pictures. It looks fantastic and with a trailer too. Especially considering the V6. Those mods sound interesting to me.
Hi Everyone, Thanks for the warm welcome. I built this car back in 1996. Her name is Peaches, short for Peaches & Cream. It was my first attempt to build what is now known as a "restomod" or "restorod". Interior and exterior restored to original, but with modern running gear. The running gear consist of: Engine= 1979 3.8 L Buick V-6 Tranny= 1979 Buick Turbo 350 Rear End= 1982 Chevy S-10 Front Suspension= 1965 Chevy Corvair Steering= Mustang II rack and pinion Wheels= 1982 Chevy S-10, 15" x 6" The rest of her is all 1955 Rambler, and because she is a Hudson not a Nash she is fully loaded with all the extra trim. See Ya! Randy
Hi All, This week I purchased the Wholly Grail of the Station Wagon world. I just got back after picking up my new 1936 Dodge Westchester Suburban (Woodie Wagon) from Arizona. It is super original with only 49,000 original miles on the clock. I'll post pics soon. See Ya! Randy
Wow, Randy! That's got to be one of the most unique wagons here. You hit a grand slam right out of the box! Having owned a '66 Corvair many years ago, I'm intrigued by your use of a '65 Corvalr front suspension. How does it work in your application with the additional weight of an engine up front (not to mention what would be heavier sheet metal I'm sure...)? Welcome! Marshall
WOW Randy :2_thumbs_up_-_anima what he said. That is a very unique looking wagone. It looks great with the trailer in tow! Really looking forward to seeing your new toy. Congratulations.
Randing, what an amazing little wagon. I don't know that I've ever seen this Nash version before. By the way, what is that thing hanging over the right rear door window?
