For me, this one would be serious competition with the '57 Buick Caballero - at a much cheaper price! Love the colors on it.

    I like it

Lose the rims , and raise it back to stock height. I see the car version all the time, never a wagon.

I agree, the custom 57 and the stock one ( I think you posted both?) are drop dead stunning. Even though I am bias to Mercs, this one is just just....
Very tastefull in deciding how to do it, just stunning IMO

I think the pics I posted are all of the same wagon.

And yeah, I've never really liked those wheels ('Astros'?)
    But that's easily fixed.

Well....only in California. This is a spectacular looking wagon. I will take it sans the wheels. And I don't usually like blue cars. This blue is gorgeous.

I, for one, seriously DIG the Astros on this Merc, as well as the very sane and tasteful lowering job on it. Very, very nice! I like the four-wheel disc brakes, and I love the color combination! I'd drive the dogmeat out of this one, exactly as it sits!(y)

Ads back then touted Mercury as "The Man's Car"

    And man, I believe it!

Love it. The colors, the stance, the whole look. Not my kind of wheels, but I have friends who would quickly snap them up and be excited to add them to their cars.

Oh man, if I were only one of Fox's best friends after he wins the next big Lotto..............

Really, really beautiful old wagons don't come along that often. This is one of them.

This wagon looks great! I like it just as it sits. Nice upgrades on it. What size engine is that? It looks to be the original unit?
