The Oldsmobile hood isn't adding anything to that car. The scoops are designed to match up with the width and location of the grilles on the 1970-72 Cutlass/442. They don't look right with a large one-piece grille. They don't look right in this application either:
They don't look right in this application either: Looks good to me. I love a low smooth scooped hood.
Ya need to contact Leepu and Pitbull for help. They just converted a 91 Caprice wagon into a 1967 one.
I wouldn't pay them mind, let alone any money. And I don't agree that you can't have twin mailboxes with a single-piece grille. As long as the complete package is not wider than the grille, it'll be just fine.
I watched the first part of the episode and then nature called and I was reading in the "library" and missed the unveiling of the result. I was only watching it because there was nothing else on.
Thanks for the compliments this is the hood I was thinking of ... the sides and hood scoops would have a carbon fiber finish ..... probably be a few more concept sketches before all is said and done ,,,,
