Hey Folks, I just got a 1986 Ford Country Squire!
It's not in too bad of shape... mine doesn't have the rear fold down jump seats though... If anyone knows where I could get some, please let me know!!

I am thinking of new paint and new side vinyl wood as well.

    Happy motoring!!

Welcome to the forum, Franky. Nice Country Squire you have there!

Your best bet for the DFRS's (Dual Facing Rear Seats) is to scrounge salvage yards. There should still be enough of these around the L.A. area that it shouldn't be too hard to come across one that's bit the dust. I know there's some 'Ford Only' yards around there (one with that exact name at least), and you can also check Pick-A-Part's. The big Mercury Colony Parks from that period ('79-'91) should fit as well. Examine how the set-up fits in the cargo area, as you might need more parts than your would think to make the conversion. If you find one, I would suggest just gutting the entire cargo area - trim panels, seats, brackets, ALL the floor panels - everything. There might even be some bracketry spot-welded to the cargo well floor that could be needed. Battery powered sawzall's come in handy.

    Good to have you here!
