I saw these two old comedies recently.

Mr.Hobbs takes a vacation stars Jimmy Stewart who takes the family on vacation in their 1960 Dodge Pioneer hardtop station wagon. No pics online have surfaced of the car yet. :(

Also, the movie "Operation Peticoat" ends with a funny scene with Cary Grants wife and a 1958 Chrysler wagon.

Two movies for a cold snowy day when you are housebound. LOL

Seems kinda weird that the site only has that one Imperial pic for the movie that features the wagon.

The wagon is interesting too because it is a hardtop. It has a dealer or owner installed roofrack (you can see where it clamps on) It has whitewall tires yet plain body colour rims with little hubcaps.

Great movie have it on DVD but I am partial. The wagon is a Polara not Pioneer...easy mistake both begin with P. The Polara was the only hardtop model. The hardtop years for Mopar were 60-64. Dodge it was only available on their top models Polara 60-61 and Custom 880 62-64. All Chrysler wagons were hardtops both Newports and New Yorkers 60-64.
