I'm debating chopping body mount steel off of 2 door ss impala in order to make repairs to same year Belair wagon in addition the wagon has all of the standard rust features including floor pans spare tire wheel pan area & rear window post areas. Worth checking with a salvage yard to see if they have interest in trading body in better shape? The SS body has some of the body mount metal I need however it too has its share of rust. Thanks, Jim
Being a wagon lover I'm glad you are fixing yours up. Still, it would be a shame to cut up a 2 door SS.
