Look what i found at walmart!

I hit 4 Walmart's today and only scored one wagon. Those odds suck............

 

I'll tell you what sucks!......Going to 4 Walmart's in one day!!

 

....Dam, we don't even have 4 Wally Marts...Happy Day all over again

 

the only '73 caprice wagons i have are from the past releases of the jl forever64 and 1 '73 caprice wagon demolition derby car from the jl 2.0 r3

OMG, I just spit pop on my computer. Actually I had cut off blue jeans cut short enough that my pockets were hangin out, a wife beater T with arm pit stains and work boots. I hit three more today.....nothing. Gordman's also has them. When you coming to Peoria area? maybe we can met up at a car show somewhere

Swanny454 there is a nice Pekin downtown car and bike show sometime in July. Bike nite I believe is on Friday and cars Saturday with an old fashioned atmospher. Food, bands, and cars spread out along the main downtown streets.
I am not sure when we will go back. Lots of medical things. I will find out about the car event.:confused:
Also, I was drinking a glass of milk. Glad I had put the glass down before I read your reply. some of these comments are getting too dangerous to be drinking and reading at the same time. I am almost like Fat Tedy. Out of control trying to type.
Don't like to talk about people or businesses. But I thought this Wally World dress code thing was only a southern event! I do remember being in Pekin and Peoria and almost feeling like we were down home!
But I wear short shorts and tankie tops often too, so probably fit right in. But the last time I wore a skirt was many years ago at a Halloween party. I was forced.

 

Not completely ! Not yet ! Pekin, Ill, has a Wal*Mart, Wal*Mart shoppers, and model cars.

 

I stayed in Bloomington last night and went to Pekin this morning on sales calls to all the schools. And YES, I went to the Pekin Walmart.

Did you happen to drive by the old high school that they are tearing down? Trying to save the old original building. But that city is like most, If the people who run it don't have a way to make a buck it isn't worth saving.
But the big question is how many old model station wagons did you score in Pekin?

 

I did not drive by the old high school. I met with the maintenance department guys and the grade school superintendent. The city has taken over the school bus fleet and they just ordered 66 new International school buses, of course I sell Thomas School Buses so they didn't buy from me. There was a 76 Ford Wagon at one of the mom and pops repair shops for sale for $1,600. It looked pretty solid, and I did grab a couple pics of a Chevette that I saw. I will upload the Vette pictures in a little bit
