Thanks, and yeah, it's kind of strange, the car looks like it would be worth a lot more than it is, they don't book for much. Virginia has an odd law where they don't recognize trades as a valid exchange, so you have to pay SOME form of tax, which amounts to the amount paid on the vehicle you had before. I paid $75, the minimum for the any vehicle since I purchased the Dodge Ram for $800, so that's what I "Purchased" the E320 for, a whopping $800. They also hit me with a $10 heavy vehicle tax, anything over 4,000 pounds, kind of annoying, but I have a Benz, so as far as I am concerned, they're just jealous.

Anyway, I've never understood why they aren't desirable. Yeah they only run premium unless you want to find out what detonation can really do to an engine, but gas is cheap now, cheapest place in town for premium is $1.96. And they're pretty reliable from what I've seen, quick too, it goes like a bat outta hell if you get down on it. Rides great, handles great, what's not to like? It's also the heaviest vehicle I've ever owned, weighing in at 4,900lbs, though it doesn't feel like it at all. She's just big boned, I guess? :D

I still want me a 80-89 Custom Cruiser, but this will more than do for now. That smooth, strange European purr of a big ole' 3.2L inline-six isn't quite the V8 rumble and roar I like and prefer, but, it turns some heads and it sounds good. Though I'm still gonna find me a 80-89 Olds Custom Cruiser like the one I had at some point, I see a junkyard 5.3 LS powered Olds in my future. Might consider swapping the Benz for one, but only after the '72 is done well enough where it's a reliable daily, which may not be until this time next year. Though it will certainly be on the road by my 26th birthday in August, so until then I have a nice, unbelievably comfy wagon to putt around in. Ah, who the hell am I kidding? Saying I putt around is like saying a Saturn rocket is a relaxed and leisurely way to travel.
