Hello - has anybody seen the '76 Chrysler wagon on eBay now? It has a 440! All original car - beautiful inside. I'm the high bidder, so after I win, I'll jump back into this forum....
On another note, the guy I sold my '67 Fury III wagon to, has it running now, after rebuilding everything from the block up, and then some. The main thing is it will be back on the road next week, after setting for 15 years...

It's not like you need to disappear between wagons. Even when you're wagonless you're welcome here. Good luck with the bidding on the Chrysler. Sorry you sold the Fury wagon. Meanwhile, I would like to see pics of your other Fury and 300.

Hi Jim - that's a good point! I've been so wrapped up in pursuing leads on eBay & Craigslist, I got sidetracked.... I posted photos of my other 2 cars on this site.... I hope they're still here!

Wow. I love the confidence. Perhaps you shouldn't jinx yourself and count your chickens before they're hatched! :)

If this is the auction you're talking about

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chry...7921467?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item35b9a5dc3b

it is a great-looking car, but, as of this moment, the auction still has 8 days to run. Lots can happen in that time. Good luck, and we'd love to see you get it.

The more you can get back on the road, the better!

Yes...that's it! What a big barge, huh? I'd love to have it... but I talked to the owner, and he's asking $6500 locally. And this is a no reserve auction, too. NADA says it's worth about $5500...so we'll see :)

Very nice collection. I don't know if you collect scale models or not, but Sunstar has a beautifully detailed 1/18 scale diecast model of a 60 Fury convertible I hope you are aware of http://www.sunstarmodelcars.com/new.htm , and Carrerra offers an incredibly detailed 1960 Fury 2 door hardtop in 1/32 scale slot car with working headlights and tail lights http://www.carrera-toys.com/us/products/evolution/cars/page-2/?brands=19&cHash=6c399e8e7c and http://www.carrera-toys.com/us/products/digital-132/cars/?brands=19&cHash=39784f3be1 .

Meanwhile, here are links to pictures I've taken at Mopar shows that include 1960 Furys like yours.

WOW! Thanks for all the links....I wondered if that was Chrysler at Carlisle. Pictures look vaguely familiar; do you contribute photos to The Forward Look website? There are thousands on there.
And also thanks for the Sunstar tip...didn't know they made one! Fairfield Mint was suppose to come out with one last Nov., but it kept being pushed back months at a time. I finally cancelled the order.

No I don't post photos on the Forward Look website. I usually end up taking over a thousand photos at Carlisle each year. But since there are many others taking photos of the same cars on the same days, I would expect many pictures to look the same, regardless of who the photograpers were. My Facebook photo albums are also available for anyone to see, so its also possible that others have copied and pasted my photos elsewhere.

On the other hand, install the hidden headlight grille front clip from a 74 Imperial or 75 New Yorker, and paint it Petty Blue and you'll have Mrs. The King from the "Cars" movie.

Otherwise, check the Cosmetic and Restoration section for info on the wood grain Di-Noc trim.
