Cool Hornet. At least there is still some honesty left on ebay. AMC had some cool car designs. There was an orange Gremlin about 5 miles from me for sale about 4 months ago. If I had somewhere to park it, that Gremlin would have probably been mine. There was also a sweet Pacer in Hotrod a while ago. A girl and her dad fully restored it for her first car.

That's my problem, too, 84Pari....if I had a place to put them, I swear, I would have as many wagons that I like that I could possibly afford.

My wife was driving a hand me down AMC Hornet wagon when we met in high school, even in 1995 she thought it was a cool car. Needless to say I have a soft spot in my heart for Hornet wagons.

(1)It's in Illinois and I'm in California.(2)My wife dislikes those cars, for some reason. It's one of the ones we can't get.(3)That room for it thing here too. We're at an apartment building. We get one on-site parking spot. Our Colony Park goes there, the Taurus goes on the street(4)Getting a third car will almost double our car insurance payments...One good thing about this car is;low monthly payments!

I am the only one that thinks that AMC nailed the look perfectly with the Hornet wagon?

I have got to get my hands on one of these some day, I am thinking 304 V8 manual trans..........

Never bought on EBAY, but if he's shooting for $5,000, why a minimum of $200?

Does look like a prize for sure. Really nice, low miles and clean, but the lowball minimum bid would knock off a lot of bidders, especially once they get over the Buy Now price.

I remember liking them when I was a kid.Little woodie wagons that didn't look like stupid Toyota woodie wagons.I still like them.Toyota woodie wagons look even stupider to me now...But,the wife doesn't like them. They're goofy 70's cars, you know. She doesn't like 70's T-Birds and Mark IV's because they look "Mexican".She explained one time that "the Mexicans" were always driving them when she was young. She likes the 80's jellybean T-Birds,though.One of her favorite cars was the blue one of those,we had for a while.

That's one car that we rarely saw in 5 years, living in Guadalajara. Lincolns or TBirds. They were into SUV's, Suburbans, Beetles, Chevies, Tsurus (Nissans). My wife told me her first car in Monterrey, MX was a Renault, and everybody had them. Must be that they're popular up in Sinaloa and the Northwest of Mexico.
