I got home about a hour ago, I just spent over $200 on LOTS of BEER, ground lamb and buffalo, chips, popsicles, pop for the kids.....

I have friends coming over to de-moss my roof and clean the gutters because I can't any more......most likely would have cost me $100 if I used the yellow pages:slap:

    :rofl2::rofl2:

Any body want a "silence of the lamb burger", come on over...but I'm putting you to work.

Oh great, me and my big mouth inviting you guys....guess I'll have to buy more beer now:rednose:

See ya in a few hours.............

Yummmm, BBQ Buffalo Chips:biglaugh:. Guess it did kinda read that way:rofl:

    Good burgers though

    1.5lb ground Buffalo(hold the chips):thumbs2:....

    1.5lb ground Turkey

    1.5lb ground lamb

    1 large diced onion

    a few diced green onions

    1 table spoon diced garlic

    1 of each, diced,large
    green,red,and yellow peper

    1 table spoon rose mary

    1 package greek spice mix

    1 package onion soup mix

    couse ground black pepper

    course sea salt.

No egg, no beer,no crumbs just mix.
The buffalo is so lean it holds it all together.

HOT BBQ, spray down with olive oil, spray burger with olive oil, though it on and let it catch fire to sear and repeat for other side. No BBQ sauce used, just keep a mist of olive oil on them and keep fliping them in the flames till just about done, turn BBQ to very low, ad cheese, slam lid and in a minute your eating

SF, It's BYOL - Bring your own ladder! De-mossing the roof in BC makes roofing look like an easy job.

But that menu and sauce sure makes it tempting, don't it?:thumbs2:

Tedy, the Buffalo chips are too soggy for frisbees, IIRC.:biglaugh:

Harder than roofing?? What.....the moss has concrete dust and epoxy mixed in before it adheres? I don't know of many things involving houses that are more difficult than roofing.:disagree: I HATE roofing.

I once de-mossed a Vancouver cedar roof on a 6,000 sq. ft. mansion in Shaughnessy with a crew of 15 guys. 8 layers of cedar shingles on a 150 year old stone mansion. 3 days. Monster job. Some of it was 3 inches thick. No new shingles, just de-mossing. It was an old lumber baron's gift to his wife. Floating marquetry hardwood ballroom floor. It's on the bustours. 5 Shaghnessy Drive. I'll never forget it.

A regular roof would be easier, but its still a major PITA.

Yeah it spreads like a cancer on cedar.

How would you like to de-moss this roof Norm....

    Coombs BC, the goat roof:yup:

    http://tourismmall.victoria.bc.ca/secrets/goats-on-the-roof.html

The Old Country Market opened as a roadside produce stand in 1973, and somewhere along the line, they got the idea of growing grass on the roof and putting goats up there to keep it cropped. And we're not talking just an occasional shoving of a goat up there on mowing day; these grazers are up there all season long, once it gets warm enough. They have a little house and everything.

[IMG] and watch out for falling goat cookies!

Why have fussy goats? What the heck do they do all day, just climb and slide down the roof?:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

Looks like a fun place. I love goats, alive or roasted.:thumbs2:

Does that moss grow on a metal roof too?
