Hi, my name is Thatcher I love cars and I’ve always loved cars that were useful, the more useful the better. The most useful are station wagons and I’ve hardly had a job that I couldn’t use mine for. I use her for towing other cars, moving, hauling parts, doing yard work, hauling lumber, you name it, and I may very well have done it. Between my best friend and I we have close to 15 cars, not including our own personal bone yard. I work at sprint right now as well as interior design and curb appeal. I flip homes for a living (but not right now!) I also do repair work on cars as well as customizations. My hobbies vary, from restoring furniture to movies, to collecting toy cars. These are the cars in my yard and driveway 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate; my pride and joy and daily driver, going to be restored this winter, a victim of Michigan deer, but I’m still driving it 1993 Ford Escort wagon; was sold to a friend, but if he doesn’t pay for it soon, it will become my winter driver. 1990 Cadillac Seville; taking up space in my garage right now, a promise to repair for my nana 1988 GMC Safari; A very nice rust free example, fully loaded, which will turn into either an Oldsmobile or Pontiac Van, we can’t agree at the moment 1987 Isuzu I-Mark 3-door hatch; my roommate’s winter car, and his personal donut maker 1987 Mazda 626 sedan; my winter car; that is if the rear shocks get welded anytime soon. It will be turned into a rally car 1985 Cadillac Eldorado; my roommate’s pride and joy, which he has customized into a rat rod Our boneyard got cleared out but these are coming to the next house 1985 Dodge Ramcharger, this one is going to my friends for parts to his 1995 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1, my roommate wants the motor, I want the suspension 1982 Cadillac Eldorado (2), one is to put the other back together a project in the running Someone is always giving us their scrap cars, we fix what we can. My fave cars are Wagons of course! Astro vans, I grew up with these Rally cars, a better treatment than these stupid ‘look-at-me’ ricers Dually trucks and Suburbans. Sure they guzzle gas and are huge, but I like big cars and you can’t beat them for hauling big such Jeep Grand Wagoneers, an American 4x4 station wagon Big Luxury cars, can’t beat for comfort Car/pickup utes, an El Camino is just an open wagon Pontiac Bonneville, I also grew up with these Phantoms, create a one off that never existed but looks like it does Matching Trailers, Put one of these on your car and you’ll never find a more loved vehicle. That’s about it, If any one wants to swap knowledge and experience, and I mean about anything, my door is always open
Welcome to the forums. I like rally cars too, and have a huge collection of pictures from the late 90s on CD.... I need to dig it up and post them one day.
