So Honest whats the purpose of putting them on 55 Gal Drums? So you can mow under them? Is that the solution to the gasses that Grass emits that cause rust?
Getting them in the air allows the wind to blow underneath them, too. That along with a slight mist of used tranny fluid is my way of preserving them as long as I can.
Just when I think we are crazy for owning a few junky cars, another guy proves we are only amatures in this game. Now stop teasin me with that Caddy fin stickin out on the left end. My wife was from a place down south called Redwood Falls, Minn. Her family wandered down to illinois and I got stuck raising her.
This is the way I got it. It's complete with engine and tranny. Too bad previous owners didn't take better care of it. I feel it's beyond restoration, just for parts now.
Thanks. Not real bad with a lot of love and a lot of money! I've seen worse starter projects in Illinois.
I was gonna say..."no....thats just a good start for a collection" then i saw the rest I think were related buts its nice to have someone that can take some of the heat off me...:0 to the board Hill
Wowza! What a stable! Also, thank you to whoever made the pictures bigger for us who are visually impaired (and too stubborn to get glasses)
Welcome Honest, glad to have you!!!! Very nice collection, I sure wish I had a few of those beauties!
