Well, S. Korea for a little bit longer. I have looked around here and became a member over a year ago. I do not own a wagon, though growing up my Dad had a 86 Caprice Classic wagon. I'm looking for a 73 Impala, Caprice whatever they are (?) wagon. I use to be big into trucks, so I have a 78 Chevy 4x4 with a brand new 6" lift project truck that I'd trade straight up. Thank you for looking at my welcome, looking forward to more pictures of these cool old rides.
Thank you! I'll be back early August, and I would love to find a wagon, just waiting for the right one. I have to convince my wife they are really cool lol. I would love a 73-76 Impala or caprice wagon. Know of any?
Tim, welcome! If you haven't already, check out our 'For Sale' section.... http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=14 We do have a few members who have had clamshells up for sale. Go back a page or three to find most of them. Marshall
to the wonderful world of station wagons. Many people of all ages are starting to realize wagons are cool. And if into customs or rods they can be extremely kool. Check the members' wagons and others you may find around. Explain to your wife that wagons were the original SUV.
Last time I saw this super clean 73 Impala with a 454 was a couple weeks ago in Virginia, and the price had dropped to $12,000. I bet the gas guage drops 1/4 tank every time you turn the key with that 454 under the hood.
Welcome to the Forum from Fort Irwin! I didn't have a wagon either when I joined, but folks on the forum found the one for me. The wife and kids love it and we are going to pile in it to see the fireworks tonight. Good luck with the PCS and wagon shopping. Jason
Thank you everyone for the welcome!! I've always loved wagons, and now's the time to get one. I've had quite a few trucks, a Camaro and more recently a Duster. But, with a wife and 4 kids a wagon would work the best. Thank you to everyone that posted pics and links. I'm here to stay now!
Jim 68Cuda That car is beautiful! Exactly what I want, just a little too pricey for me! Thanks for the pictures though!
Maybe just an engine compartment dress-up? I was wondering why it was on the left side. Was that the stock location for a 70's 454 big Chevy?
Hi Tim, no worries these guys will have you in the right wagon and they'll spare no expence...of course it will be yours... glad you found us.
