The good old days knew something we're having to re-learn:

A four-banger using 2 Canadian gallons to go 60 miles! On Ethanol?

Back to the future or what?

I never knew that! I thought they made enough money from the high price of oil.

Sort of reminds me of the Dilbert comic where Dilbert's company wanted to outsource some work. They outsourced the work to one company, who outsourced to another which in turn was outsourced to Dilbert's company!

They use any little excuse to justify a price increase. Prices always shoot up and always trickle down slowly.....

I did not see this, but I have heard of VW drivers filling their diesel cars with vegetable oil!

Stefan, you might want to set up a Rant page, because there's a lot of issues here that people want to discuss and probably will distract from the the hobby.

Some forums have a Town Square section that needs a secondary password and then people request to post their themes (threads, ideas, comments). I know I get upset and then when I find the science to backup the evidence, I really hit it. I'm sure many others hit their limit of frustration too!(y)

And steadily it will rise and so will everything else....even your paycheck, hopefully...ahh inflation! :yikes: :162:

I have watched it steadily climb about .50 since July!! In Hawaii and California is always higher than the rest of the country. Go figure when a good chunk of it is refined here in So. Cal. not just Texas.

Electric cars anyone? :icon_drive: Going to install Hydro-electric motors when they come out? When He@@ freezes?

    stuff

when that car was brand new, minimum wage was 25 cents an hour, wasn't it?(I was born in 61,and that's what I've heard)..so you would work two, three days just to fill up.then spend the other two days wages on movies and burgers on Saturday night.:icon_drive:
