Hugh, you're in luck! Here's some Free Farm Building Plan sites (downloadable) for that pole building:

    http://www.public.iastate.edu/~mwps_dis/mwps_web/frame_p.html

    http://www.ag.ndsu.nodak.edu/abeng/plans/

    http://www.agriculture.gov.sk.ca/Farm_Structures

    http://www.cps.gov.on.ca/english/planmenu.htm

And let me tell ya, these are a beeeech to find via search engines.

Alberta Agriculture has one too, but they mostly cross-reference to those. And that Prairie Farm Report program GlobalTV or CityTV on Saturday Afternoons, has videos for modern, insulated widespan steel buildings (over $200,000) with steam-heated floors for their equipment repair sheds. They use solar HW on the roof to heat the snow>>water>>steam. ZERO Operating costs.

Actually, here's one from one of those sites, with Solar heat:

OMG! I was just snooping in the Misc. Plans section on one of those sites. The ideas dazzle. Even a bumper gate from 1933! Trailer beds, pickup truck racks, and on, and on!
