Picked up this sweet 72 Chevelle wagon with a factory 4 speed and posi rear. California car but still Has some rust with the worst around the fixed rear side windows. My plan is to turn it into an SS with cowl hood, ss 396 wheels, bucket seats and console, maybe change gauges. I'll post some pictures soon.
Welcome to the Nuthouse we call home. That is one SWEET wagon you have there. Before you do anything, I would send for the report on the car. I am betting there were very few of these with factory 4 speed transmissions. I wonder how many are left. Your ideas sound great, particularly as you will be able to return this rare wagon to original if you ever decide to do so. With a rare car, that is a key thing. I hate to see a very rare, special car that is bolloxed up and ruined.
