man...this last 6 months!!....HOLY...theres sure been a lot of death and destruction!! since December...ive been to 6 funerals...and was unable to attend another 4!! ...and i'm one of those people that wont go to a wedding or a funeral unless they were actually personal freinds!! Thats what idid this w/e...drove 10 hours to go to childhood pals Dads funeral...He passed on Fathers Day...yuch!! but while i was away..i hear this!! Scott Kalitta 46 (i think)(son of Connie Kalitta)was killed this w/e at a dragstrip in Jersey.when his Top fuel car crashed! I grew up at a Dragstrip...so it feels like a freind passed and George Carlin...1 of my fave comedians passed away at 71 today! ....7 words man!!!...RIP 'the Hippy Dippy weatherman'
I grew up listening to George Carlin on tv,records, and if the right station came in on the radio when they played one of his albums. RIP George.
Tough to see it so close, so often. I guess we all get those kinds of cycles, at one time or another. Touching wood doesn't help either. When its time, its time. Onward...
