Is the carpet from Auto Truck Trim Supply any good? It is reasonably priced at 170.00 for a 67 Ford. http://www.autotrimsupply.com/eshop/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=3096-67 The carpet in ours is wasted. New stuff would make a huge difference, it would be failry easy and inexpensive. Thanks, Ron
I bought mine from http://stockinteriors.com/Model.asp?MakeId=8&Desc=Ford_Carpet which I was very happy with. It was actually made by ACC and reasonably priced. Good luck!
As long as you're going to pull the carpet, clean the padding out, clean the floorpan, and install some Dyna-Mat type product all around. It will make your car seem like its 20 years newer as far a absorbing road noise, engine osund, etc. You can buy rolls of it at your local big-box store. (May be called something different......has foil on the outside, and sticky rubber-type stuff on the downside, with a pull-off layer.)
I bought ACC brand carpet from National Parts Depot for my 71 F100, and while I was at it got a roll of insulation. Unfortunately I have not got around to installing it yet, but they had the best price at the time I got it - 2 years ago.
Thanks for all the replys. I will take a look at the ACC stuff. I just bought a floor for my Ford truck and it only came about 3/4 of the way back. I would like to put down some good stuff in the wagon. Thanks again.
