Howdy. As StorminNorman's official photographer I decided it was time to jump in here. You guys are just having too much fun, what, with all the cute smilies and everything. OK here's my car: and here's my car very soon: While I probably won't have too much to offer here, I will try to at least post something annoying every once in a while.
My Camera Secret is diclosed, and high-time, too! Thanks for getting some of these guys off my case, my Carcase, that is! BTW, Nice Fairmont Wagon, eh!
your a friend of Stormin's????????????????? oy!!! just joking... ...watch it....your liable to end up with a new paint job!! ...welcome from the warm side of the planet
Nothing to worry about TBird, unless you're other car is an early 80's Escort 5-door Woody or a late 50's Imperial wagon. Those tail lights are precious. And that Hemi should be illegal. I'm gonna take my wife around the countryside here in Manitoba and watch for another Fairmont/Zephyr/Cougar/LTD II and maybe some of the small towns had old Imperial ambulances or hearses or even a 4-door. There's only 201 Cities and Towns in this Province. Only 3 of them, including mine, Winnipeg, are over 10,000 souls. That's a lot of small junk yards to find.
Actually, it's worked out the other way around. I'm the benefactor in this case, made out like a bandit so far, with items including a Mexican block 302 and everything attached to it, gas tank, vent windows, wheels, parking brake pedal, and I've got my eye on a steering rack and rear end. Did I leave anything out Norm?
We all appreciate the picture taking for Norm. It's been great seeing the progress of a cool Fairmont restoration.
Yeah! All the Factory Shop manuals and parts sheets you lent me, and the 10" polisher I didn't know how to use. I think we've been mutually helped. I think I found some other V8 parts in the shop, so I'll set them aside.
Amen! You're gonna take them, right? I hate to throw them out, after cleaning up and restoring the steel frame structures.
