Well, I can't say "I don't have an Outback", because, well, I do, but my car is a Subaru Legacy Wagon, not an Outback. Sorta. Started out with a 1995 Legacy Wagon, it got eaten by a guardrail, so I got a Sedan, which sucked. I traded it in for my current Legacy Wagon.
You Subaru people are a little pushy aren't you. Ha! Have you ever considered a nice Mercury Cougar Wagon? Much more space and much slower too. Really though I like ALL wagons even Outbacks, Legacy's and Forresters.
Hah. I have to have AWD. Geeze, I used to get my Legacy Sedan stuck all the time. I'd like an older wagon with a 350 or even a big block in it. But, I like having an engine where the spark plugs are almost impossible to get at... Or something.
Did you say invasion? BTW - the Cougar wagon would be sweet if you grafted the Aerostar's AWD system onto it and swapped in a DOHC 4.6 liter motor and the Borg-Warner 5-speed tranny found in the Mustang. Probably cheaper to get a Subaru for bad weather though & keep that lovely Ford product in its woodpaneled glory for good days.
>_< I hate not having Flash. it just doesn't exist for 64 bit Linux yet. I've thought about shoehorning a 350 into my current ride, but it would have to stay ODBII to stay emissions legal, and there just isn't any space in there. A chevy 350 in a Ford? Blasphmey! The awesomest AWD vehicle I've seen was an RX-7 with a WRX powertrain in it.
