The price is right. Under the hood is really clean, that's a good sign.
I wonder why the back of the car sits so high???
It should get great mileage going downhill all the time like that though.

The clean engine is what caught my eye too. I see what you mean about the back end. It looks higher than mine that I just put the moog CC 623 springs on last week.

By the way, I love my new springs. I think I first heard about using them in a post fro 81 x 11. Excellent advice.

I put CC 623 springs in the OCC this past Sunday as well. I was hoping to fix a one inch lean the car had. The new springs raised the back one inch evenly on both sides so it still sits higher on the driver side. :slap: But, at least the tailpipe doesn't scrape entering/leaving the driveway anymore.

How's the front suspension?? Ive seen that side to side height difference from when people do suspension work and tighten up the new control arm bushings before the car is on the ground. Also from the car not sitting on level ground when they tighten them. You have to bounce the car around some before you tighten them up to settle everything in beforehand too.
I also see that on cars that park on the street most or all of the time. The crown of the road makes the car want to sit level and they end up low on the driver's side after a few years when the springs take a lopsided set. Weight challenged driver's can cause that too.

Front suspension is in pretty good shape, especially for the miles. I recently had a four wheel alignment after getting new tires and neither I, the tire shop or the alignment shop found any problems up there. I bought the car in 2001 and in its past life it appears that the car was hit on the right front. There are some visible wrinkles in the core support and the inner fender has always been missing a few fasteners where holes don't quite line up. Also, the passenger-side lower control arm looks newer than the rest. Measuring the two front wheel wells shows that the passenger side is less than a half inch lower than the driver side but it's still a full inch in the rear. It's not the body either as I also measured from the frame to the ground with the same results.

Oh well. Been that way for many years and still gets me everywhere just fine.

Hmm... all of my cars sit lower on the driver's side. Strange... :D
