    Are these a thing? Is something like this really worth $6,500?
    I could think of quite a few newer, more modern 4WD vehicles that can be had for well under that amount.

    I drove my first standard transmission in one of these at about age 15, in a salvage yard in Vermont. That was around 1989 and that car was almost totally rusted-away even then.
