Hey everyone. My name is Jeremy. I just bought a 72 Coronet wagon on eBay a few weeks ago and am getting ready to fly to Seattle and drive her home. Honestly, I have never seen the car, so I can't tell you much about it. I can tell you that I got it for one hell of a deal and I bought it from the 83 year old orig owner. The car is near rust free and has a ton of potential. Lucky for me, my friend who picked the car up for me has a ton of parts that I need. The car is a factory F3 light green with F8 dark green interior. It came equipped with a 318 2bbl with an auto trans. It does have Disk brakes and a front sway bar as well as an 8 3/4 in the rear. It seems to be a pretty basic model, but I look forward to getting it and hope to find a build sheet. I am not 100% sure of my drive train plans. I have a few options. I have a 71 440 and a complete 71 Six Pack set up and a 727 that I could put in and make one crazy sleeper, or, I would like to put a 5.9 Magnum with a four speed auto. I want to drive the car all summer long, so the latter will more than likely be used. As for appearance wise, I am thinking about sticking with the F3 green or going with the new Viper green. The interior will be going black and I plan to add Factory B-body rally gauges with a tach. I also plan to add Hood pins, driver and pass. side sport mirrors, 71 grille, 71 marker lights, and many other cool little touches. I am not 100% on wheel selection either, but I do know it is going to have one cool stance. Anyway, here are a few pics and I can't wait to get to know you guys. Later, Jeremy

    Hi Jeremy,
Nice wagon. The 71-74 Coronets are my all time favorite. I learned to drive in my parents' 74. Hope to find one some day. The 71-73 look better than the 74 with its "safety" bumper but I'll probably go for a 74 anyway because of the memories.

    Cheers,
    Ken

Welcome to the forum. I was puzzled by your mention of wanting to put '71 parts on it, so I looked up a pic of a '71. Not a big difference, but definitely cleaner-looking. Too bad yours wasn't a '71 to begin with.....
    Here's a '71 for reference....

Jeremy, congrats on such a great find. Your long roof looks to be in fine shape and it is very cool you bought it from the original owner.
Welcome to the forum; can't wait to see what you do to it.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I am very excited to go get it. July isn't going to come soon enough. I agree, it is to bad it's not a 71. For what I paid though, I won't complain. I had the winning bid of $405 after a few other people canceled their bids. Not sure why they did, but it hurt the seller pretty bad. He seemed pretty upset about the winning price, but he followed threw with the deal. Anyway, I need to get back to work.

Thanks again guys. I was very lucky to get the car and even more for that price. Now I am trying my darndest to get some money together to go get it. I am trying to sell some of my parts, including a 71 440 with 59K orig miles, 70 383 HP, 70-71 A-body rally dash, two 3rd gen Chargers, and lots more to get up there, have fun, and get home. I am having my friend Ross do a little work on it before I go get it so that I have a better chance of getting home. I am looking to buy a set of the Ansen slotted mags and BFG's. Should make the car look tuff. I can't wait to get it home though. It will probably be mid July, I need it back before the 21st as I really want to drive it to the Offspring concert with my friends. Nothing like pulling up to a concert in a sweet old ride. Here is my eBay page if you want to check stuff out. I will be adding a few new things this weekend. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/j-macsmopars/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=
Thanks again for the complements and welcomes. I have looked around some and really enjoy the place. I would love to see pics of 71-74 Mopar B-bodies. Is there a thread anywhere for just them, or should I start one. I tried to find one in search, but didn't see much.

Pull the rear seat lower cushion out, your build sheet should be tucked in the seat springs. Mine had two copies of the build sheet. My 72 Coronet wagon is GY4 Honey Dew Yellow with the same color interior yours has. I have a 69 383 I'd like to drop in it...or...my son wants to put a bigger motor in our Dakota R/T, and put our 5.9 in the wagon.
