Just picked up a 68 Country Squire Wagon. Have a quick question. It's mostly original, but has the Squire horse emblems on front fenders. They look like they belong there, but can't find any pics of others with same emblem. They are mounted on the line going thru fender on a "raised circle"... I'll have to post some pics later. Any thoughts are appreciated. Also, looking for some parts too. Thanks! Brian

    Welcome to the forum, Brian.
As to your inquiry on the 'Horse' emblem -
From what I have researched, that emblem was standard on the '66 Country Squire, not the '68. So a prior owner must have added them to your wagon. Here's a link to an ad for a '66 showing the 'horse' on the fender:

Welcome to the squirrel's cage. Great car! Looks beautiful. Those horse emblems may not be stock to the 68, but they sure suit the car. What are your plans for the old girl? Keep her as is and enjoy, or restore and enjoy?

Thanks Mike. I plan on putting the rear seats in to make 10 passenger. I have American Racing Torque Trust rims for her. Also going to put wood grain back on. I do like the horse emblems, so ill keep em- looking to have done good times with it!
