    I like it. Last year for the 4.2L was 1989 in Jeep YJ's. So that would be a late 80's engine not early 90's not that it makes a difference.

    Beautiful looking car, and love that colour. Hate the 6, even from the late 80s. That it is a replacement engine hurts the value, too. I have a feeling he's a few thousand high on his price tag. Drop in a 304 or a 360, and then we're talking!

    Not a whole lot of value to a Rebel wagon, anyway! The engine swap enhances things, in my eye, on this. I'd surely drive it as a daily! Nice car.

    Not a swap I would have thought of, but it's a great idea. I expect performance would be about the same as a 2wd Cherokee with a six and a 5-speed in it.

    It was probably a 6 from the factory, which would have been a 232, which is the predecessor to the 258. They are almost identical with some minor changes over the years.
