Need some help - have a 66 squire wagon 390cuin with power steering. it appears that the steering gear box is leaking so will need replacement - understand these were fitted with two types - either a ford one or Saginaw - the markings on mine appear to read CRA5-A. any clues as to what make this is? thanks:cheers:

There should be a Ford number like C6xx-xxxxx-xx, if its not a Saginaw, otherwise, my guess is that its a remanufactured unit.

I'm fairly sure that any Ford wagon box would fit, from 1965 to 1969, so the part number could start with a C5xx- (1965) or even D9xx- (1979) if they made revisions to them, because of premature failure.

Don't know squat about the Saginaw numbering.
