Slowly working my way through my wagon, so now have weather strips on all doors including the tailgate (MG seals fit better than the originals and were £15 here instead of £200 for mopars shipped in from the US :) ) and a heater which is essential for the UK at the minute! Learnt a lot about the vacuum operations for the heater.....

Now onto a few new things - I believe there should be a panel that drops down when you lower the tailgate to fill the gap between the interior and the tailgate, but can't see any fixings. Was that an option, or is mine just missing?

Also, the rear seat has a button that is pressed to allow you to lower it down - other than the button, there is no mechanism/catch on mine at all to stop it falling forward if you hit the brakes.

I'm sure there are a few Belvedere wagon guys on here - anyone got any clues or photos that might help?

    Thanks in advance!

    Gerry

The panel you describe filling the void between the tailgate and interior was not installed on all the B body wagons. I know that in 67 there was a Belvedere, and Belvedere I and a Belvedere II wagon. I believe the Belvedere I and II wagons in 67 had that panel, but not the base line 67 Belvedere wagon. I believe all 66 Belvedere wagons had the filler panel.

    Thanks!

It's interesting there seems to be no fixings at all for one in my 66 II.

The filler panel looks really useful, so will try and build my own
