For Sale: RARE! 1989 Ford Crown Victoria LX, LTD Country Squire Station (Woody) Wagon.
Not another car like this in NS. Originally a Florida Car (first 9 years), have original paperwork. This car has never seen a winter (last 14 years in NS), lots of TLC, and two (senior) owners only.
This car is in Excellent, almost showroom condition. Everything is original, including paint. Loaded, with every available option for its year, too numerous to list.
Mileage; 101,000 original miles (160,000 kms). 5 Litre (302 ci) engine, automatic trans. Pictures don’t do this car justice; You really have to see this car to appreciate the overall excellent condition inside and out and experience the wonderful ride.
Just MVI’d (expires July 2014) with all new exhaust system (have receipts).
Recently appraised at $6000.00, asking price $6000.00. No Trades, selling for my Father.

Looks to be in excellent condition. Only thing for me is that 'dusty rose' color - not fond of it.

It appears to be a very nice Country Squire, but are they really that rare in Canada in excellent condition?
Because they are not that difficult to find in the lower 48 US, based on what I've seen advertised.

I do love it when people claim 'every option', and don't know what was actually available. This one is well equipped, for sure, but did not come with the top value package, which included the Insta-Clear windscreen and 100 amp alternator. Were the Insta-Clear there, the front windscreen would have a golden hue to it. That system worked with a very thin coating of gold to provide the heat. They are also damnably expensive, at over $1,000.

I would guess it all depends where you live, myself, I have not seen one in a very long time...if not a few years. Only Ford wag of that era around here is a wood delete blue one, close to our airport all covered is dust and dirt beside a garage. No $ so I've never knoked on the door.

Yup, I remember alot of the Mercs and Fords having that front glass, I've even seen it on a Merc Sable wagon.

    Nice looker this wag.

    89 Country squire

I do like this vintage of Squire.
BUT, it always Bugs me when a seller throws-out that it has been
appraised. I mean REALLY !!! I can find at least a Dozen people to
" Appraise " a car at whatever value I'm hoping to get. And the pictures don't
really show how the rails look. They almost look like they have been re-painted.
I'm not knocking the car. Just don't like to see an ad Telling me what I
should be paying. The car is worth what the market is at the time. O.K.
    I feel much better now.................

Good point. I paid a fraction of what the seller is asking for his. Mine is not perfect but still quite nice in my opinion. I have an MGB that is appraised at about $15,000 yet I know I would probably have a tough time getting $8,000 out of it even if I'm into it for about $20,000 in restoration.
