Cougars are cats, man! Stealthy, coy and the worst is that they purr, then pounce! Hate cats, love the cars!

    zephyr

I remember back in '79 we (myself, 2 brothers & parents) test rode and almost bought a zephyr wagon. My dad figured it was too under powered and bought a new Volare station wagon instead. we had that one over ten years. would've been longer except the Cleveland, Ohio winters finally got to it... it died a slow bondo filled death...lol.

I've never heard of or seen a cougar wagon. Sounds cool. Any sleeper, especially a wagon, is awesome.

    82 wagon (cougar)

I started pulling the dash board out today. I'm starting to realize some obsticles ahead. A bit of the interior palnels (plastic trim) is in bad shape. I'm gonna have quite the journey trying to track some more down.

Maybe, maybe not....alot of trim pieces are shared with the other Fox wagons, what exactly are you looking for?

When thinking 82 Cougar think Fairmont, Zephyr, Granada, Marquis, LTD and sometimes Mustang. Interior parts are all interchangable. My interior is from a 84 LTD wagon. Stormin' Normans is LTD, Mustang, Capri etc. Especially the plastics.

Even Lincoln vanity visors! (have to trim them a bit for length) but now I can pluck my eyebrows while driving. :rofl2: The wife might get a tad concerned!

Yep, even some Fox-bodied Thunderbird parts will fit.

Mine is just like the red one above with the red interior, except it is white & veneer outside. I need the interior trim espcially for the passenger side which is right under the seatbelt. It runs from the lower seatbelt mount to the roof right about where your shoulder would be. I am missing a significant piece that was broken off.
