I know thats its not factory but it did start as a wagon. Look at the rear quaters next to the tail gate they are flat like a wagon and not like the El Caminos.

Any body here know anything on this? Id like to see some more pictures and how it was done.

I saw this for sale a while back. It would have started as a plain 'ole 4-door Malibu wagon. A talented bodyman simply moved the 'B' pillar back a bit and probably used a modified rear door door skin to fill in the hole where the rear door used to be. The front door is from a 2-door coupe. This procedure has been done a lot - particularly on old Nova wagons......

Most new Ford and Chevy's with V6s come with duals. Done right they sound good. Not a V8 sound but not a ricer sound either.

Yup...they do, indeed, TB. I just don't like the sound no matter how they're done. That's just me. I'm a died in the wool V8 guy. Although there are SOME V6's that can be awsome when built. :yup:
    EDIT:
Let me change that to some 6's that can be awesome when built.

The last time I had a V8 was around 1984 or so. Chevy heavy C10 with a 350 and Quadrajunk carb. 12 mpg. I think I got 15 on the highway once.

I'm not anit-V8. It just seems the old V8 were.....how do you say crap nicely?

Now the new Chevy/Ford V8 are very nice.

I could sure argue this point at length but I won't. To each his own and I don't try to sell anyone on what I like. But I sure wouldn't call a chevy V8 junk and that carb wasn't junk either. I like a lot of things and most engines can be made to do good things. The chevy is in myriad rods all over the world. Again...everyone has his favorites. And chevy isn't necessarily my favorite but I can't knock it.

It can be done pretty easy if you just weld up the rear doors. That one does look like it used doors from a 2 door car.

I remember old German Mercury Capri's with a 2300 V6 with duals sounded awesome with the right mufflers on em'!

I didn't do the bodywork. But there is no interior so it is pretty easy to see what they did. It doesn't look all that hard. Just don't use to thin of metal and brace it real well.
