I've bought 3-4 cars out of Wisconsin over the years.
And every one of them have been Fantastic. It gives

I'd agree especially if we could see more pics.

Looks nice. The relatively high mileage works against it.

Yes, but the mechanicals still have nearing 150,000 miles of wear on them.

What the hay, he's asking only $1,500 for it now. It was higher before, right? Cosmetically it looks great. Do you suppose I'd be able to get it and re-sell it at a profit? (With maintenance work done, of course.)

If you want to flip for a profit it all depends on "what" you mean by (With maintenance work done, of course) Are you talking extra elbow grease detailing or ?????. If it's not broken, don't go a fix'n nutin that can kill a profit before you know it;)

So, my brother lives just a couple minutes away from this car, and he went over and looked at it tonight. Here are the pictures he sent me. He's considering buying it as a potential flip opportunity, as he is recently jobless, and some extra money would come in handy.

Does this look like the buick 350 engine to you all?

There is some rust, but the rust under the car doesn't seem all that bad. I'm still waiting to hear if that door was the only one rusted, or if they were all like that.

Just saying that I'd rather not just flip it without doing anything like basic maintenance items if needed; Oil & Filter Change, Check spark plugs and wires, etc. It looks good enough in the photo to drive all the way home, all 550-600 miles.

Then again driving it that distance could be part of the value, making it closer to a buyer...

350 or 403 V8 were the only engine options in 1979. Don't know which one this burgundy Buick has.

That is a Buick engine in there. So it must be the 350 since the 403 is an Olds engine.
