Can anyone tell me which GM B body fenders will fit my 1978 estate wagon. I think its 77-79, do I have to stay with Buick or will a chevy-olds-pontiac fit?

Front fenders or rear fenders? I think rear fenders will interchange, but front fenders will have to come from another Buick as the body lines of the front ends of the various GM makes differed.

Compare these cars from the front door forward. Definite differences between Chevy and Buick, and I'm not talking about the Buick's portholes. Just for starters, the placement of the turn signals is different, and the Buick's fender slopes forward at the headlights while the Chevy's looks vertical or slopes rearward. I think even the wheel arches are not the same shape as the Chevy's looks more rounded while the Buick's appears to be flattened for a bit along the top.

But note that the rear fenders and sizes and shapes of the doors are the same, except for the placement of the trim strips that run along the sides, location of the "Estate Wagon" and "Impala" scripts, and other details like that. But the base sheetmetal appears to be the same.
