WOW! $3800 and there are still seven an a half days left! Might hang there for awhile, though.

Well.....it's a ground pounder compared to the 307! :rofl2: That's the thing I like about this one and the other one like it for $1500.....they have the solidity and the ride of the box wagon with more snort than the 80's wagon's 307.

Even the late 70's Buick 350 had a lot more snort than the 307. The 350 also got better gas mileage than the 307. I went from an 84 Delta 88 coupe (307, 4bbl, 200R4) to a 78 Electra coupe (Buick 350, 4bbl, THM-400). Even without overdrive, the Buick used less fuel, which surprised the bejesus out of me!

That Buick 350 has more torque....less pedal needed.

Bidding has stalled at $5556 with reserve not met and just under 24 hours left in the auction.

What would be a realistic price for this beauty?

I don't think I would let it go for $5500 either.

    Thoughts?

Well, it's a nice car, no doubt, jwd. Hard to put an exact price on it without driving it, though. The price is up there to me, especially after seeing the one for $1500 that is its twin but not as pristine. Couple of small things bother me for the price. The one in particular is the dash crack. The 80's box Buick's had a redesigned dash with tough material. I looked for an 80's box Buick for years after mine was wrecked as many here can attest. I know that the dash in those 80's box Buick's probably could crack but...in the hundreds that I looked at not one was ever cracked at all. The design & material in these 70's look like they must crack. Sure...you can get a new dash pad but they aren't cheap and the color may not be perfect. No biggie, I guess, but ... if you are going to pay top dollar you shouldn't have to spend big bucks on it. The two dents in the tail gate don't bother me too much but I wish they weren't there. If I really wanted one of these...and if I didn't have my car I WOULD be wanting one like this...I would still have a really hard time going to $5500 and I think the $6000 mark would stop me before I got there. But...that's just me....I have a hard time seeing any of these wagons going for the money that some of them bring.

Interesting. I had never noticed the dash crack until you mentioned it, silverfox. It doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the interior which appears nearly perfect with the exception of the the scratches on the woodgrain inlay above the glove compartment door. What's mounted there? A compass?

I don't know what that is....looks like a thermometer, maybe. The BUICK letters are missing, too, unless that's the way they were in this 70's model.

What has me confused....what is the little black thing here on the lower dash????

Think that is an aftermarket cruise control module even though this photo shows this Buick has the original factory cruise button on the turn signal stalk lever. Maybe the factory cruise quit working.
