    But the high bidder, whose contact info was provided to the seller, has posted "got a deal done." So apparently the car IS sold, but we don't know the final price.

    I'd guess the final price was something around the high bid. $8k range? Seems like a fair price for both buyer and seller. No matter how good the condition, there is only so much demand for a car like this.

    When you see what $8,000 supposedly buys you today this car to me would have been the sale of the century! Love these luxo barges. It’s a very delightful car.
