I owned a 74 Grabber ugly brown with the blacked out panels in the late 70's. I enjoyed driving it. 3-speed manual 302 4bbl. It was faster than my buddies 73 nova SS, but it rusted away alot faster though.

Big bumpers, but that's easily rectified.
About 20 years ago a friend of my younger brother bought a Grabber Maverick with a 3 speed and 302. Over the years he's fixed it up into a really neat car, which he still owns to this day.
I remember at the time my Dad, who grew up in the original muscle car era, looking at it and saying "A Maverick? Why a Maverick? It's just a Maverick"
    :rofl2:
