Patience is the word of the day, sometimes life gets in the way of our "hobbies"

But yes we all want to see it finishes and wish we had the mad skills to build out our dreams.

Was bucket seats and floor shift ever considered?

I'm thinking 1971-1973 Riviera set of buckets with full console in black and woodgrain with the L-handle shifter would be nice...

    The console matching the dash:

That would be one plush wagon. I like it. However, I've wanted a 71-72 riviera so bad for the last 12 years now that it's almost an obsession, so I may be biased.

I think with all the work needed to make it a true 2-door that it would look weird with a bench seat.

But its not my wagon, it will be fabulous how ever it's finished.

Yeah, 2low...it's a beauty and done well by wixy. Unfortunately, Wixom61 has drifted away from us. He was a good friend and I miss him. He pops in occasionally but doesn't post. His wagon project was coming along just great when he had an unfortunate hail storm dent it up. I think he was overwhelmed a little by that. At least, it was after that that he drifted away. I can't imagine how he must have felt when that happened. He was doing a masterful job on this wagon. It has been featured on many car forums on the Internet.

    HOWDY Y'ALL! :tiphat:

I thought I would poke my head in the door and say hi!

I'm a little embarrassed and, yes, even a little ashamed at just how long it's been since I was last here. I've most certainly missed my friends here at this wonderful forum, and am very happy to be back. :)

I've got some catching up to do with all of the threads and all of my friends, and will enjoy seeing what everyone has been up to in my absence.

:2_thumbs_up_-_anima So much catching up to do!

    David :)

LOL! Foxy, howdy friend! I've missed you and everyone here! How have you been?

As for me, I've been fine, just haven't done a blasted thing on the old Buick in about a year! I've kept it covered up and protected, so I'm picking up where I left off, just like here! :rofl2:

    David :)
