That's very cool! So it looks like you added power windows during the restoration?

Yes, I added power windows and a power bench seat. I figured the interior was going to be gutted anyway, so it wasn't that much more effort.

Not quite ready. There's still more to do, like brake lines and install a new AC unit. Then there are lots of details I'm fussing over (like the jack instructions sticker(s) I recreated). I hope she'll be ready by Spring.

Do you have somewhere you posted more photos of the process?

I'm afraid I don't have a place where I've stored photos, but if there is any part of the restoration you want to know more about, I'm happy to share what I can. The youtube video is just a quick before/after snapshot of the 4+year process.

Fantastic restoration! My Mom had a '71 Cutlass 4 door(Town Sedan?) in what I believe was the same color? Lime Green, hers had a white painted top.

    Vetteman,

Wow! I'm on break so I had time to look at your build thread....Amazing work! You're much more thorough in the details of your restoration than I was with mine--but then, you have the know-how I don't. I worked closely with a car restoration guy, relying on his expertise. Your Grand Safari will be amazing.
