    He sure didn’t like that car. You should watch their review of the ‘69 LTD. He glows about the Ford.

    Chevrolet division set themselves up, for such humiliation. A rule of thumb says that 396s belong in nothing larger than an intermediate and 427s in full-sized. Why Chevrolet offered such a wide variety of drivetrain choices is puzzling. Especially, when the other 3 automakers rationalized production to only a handfull. A two-barreled carburetor on a high-displacement engine is also a butt for jokes.
    Anybody buying a car set up like the one videoed is not going to be concerned about beating someone from a traffic light, anyway
